I paint to evoke stories of the past and hope for the future. My paintings are a mixture of Realism and Expressionism. As an art teacher, I pick up the excitement of my students yet I also desire quality and realism. I paint bonsai trees in their traditional bonsai settings. Influenced by my father’s extensive bonsai collection, I include the time and patience required to bring the bonsai to its future beauty.
I have been painting for over 15 years after receiving my Fine Arts degree in Painting. I have previously worked in Finance in the Silicon Valley and as a Graphic Designer.
